Luke Shakespeare

Coach Luke began his powerlifting journey in 2012 & within his first few months, he was hooked. At the time, he was working as a Personal Trainer in a bustling commercial gym in the Sydney CBD. But soon after falling in love with powerlifting, he began coaching.

Over the past decade he has spent countless hours both in the gym & behind the computer developing his coaching systems to what they are today. From humble beginnings to now having proven the success of his coaching systems with multiple national champions, record holders, as well as all time world records set internationally by his team.

In his own powerlifting career he has totalled 855kg raw (in knee wraps) & 1000kg in single ply equipment (the highest equipped formula in Australia), both in the 110kg weight class.
